Leather, hand-tooled and beautifully finished, combined with fine hardwoods has been the signature style of Eastman Studios furniture for the past twenty-seven years.
Linda Sue Eastman is now creating limited edition and standard urns using the same materials and refined skills. Every urn shows her leather artistry, each mark is made by the finesse of a knife cut or stroke of the artist’s mallet. Each urn is hand crafted from solid butternut hardwood with sturdy dovetail joints for the box and with mahogany for the exposed top and bottom panels. The leather and wood are finished with durable hand rubbed oils. The urns were first made available at the CANA Convention, Aug 6 – 9, 2014 in Minneapolis, MN.
